Hi everyone! Lola here!
If you follow my Facebook fan page, you'll know that I've dtarted a new daily schedule.
It's a pretty strict schedule and a bit tight, but it's great for getting everything I need to do done!
I wrote it three days ago and started today...
Basically, I get up at 8:00am (something I haven't done in months :P).
Since I usually sleep all morning, I figured it'd be a perfect time to work on my personal projects instead!
Which includes, Youtube videos and publishing a blog post. So I should post every day at the same time (except for Saturdays when I post slightly later). I've also decided to get a bit of exercise in the morning. I don't do it enough and I get tired very quickly whenever I run or do something else that requires effort.
My afternoons will be reserved for job-hunting (while I still don't have one), any important stuff I have to get done and my hobbies. I have one hour of "hobbies" during which I'll either draw, play an instrument, sing, or do anything else I love.
I've even managed to put Facebook into my daily schedule, so as not to get addicted like I used to!
I've dramatically downsized my friends list and I only go on there to post about my projects and talk to my closer friends.
Every day, I post about something different. On Thursdays, I'll post all of the week's posts on my Facebook fan page along with the titles and a few words to describe them.
Which means that's what I'll be doing today!
The end of the day is when I catch up with my Youtube subscriptions. Since I'm subscribed to people who post a lot (some of them post daily), I need to watch their videos regularly. Now I can, without worrying about anything else of importance I was supposed to do that day! Hooray!
Then I'll go to bed at around 10:30pm. Except on Saturdays, because I get up a bit later on Sundays with this schedule.
I tell you, when I wrote down this schedule, I really thought it sounded too unrealistic and perfect... but I've actually managed to do everything I was supposed to do so far! I'm also using this site called Habit RPG, which is awesome! It basically treats life like a game. You set dailies, to-dos and habits. Every time you get something done, you click on what you did and gain experience. You have this little character you can make level up this way and can collect items, pets and mounts. Try it, it really makes you a lot more productive! :P
I hope I can stick to the schedule properly and every day. It's going to help me do so many things I've been wanting to do!
There are a few problems, though (aren't there always?).
My dad is a computer whiz and needs the desktop computer for work. I wasn't able to edit my Youtube footage today because he was already working on the computer. Apparently, I can't be allowed a tiny hour of video-editing while he uses the computer the rest of the entire day (I did propose the arrangement, but he said no). I can't use my laptop because it's not powerful enough to play HD videos and the desktop one is lagging enough with my software, so the laptop would probably explode, haha. I think I"ll just have to schedule my Youtube stuff a little earlier in the day, when he's still in bed.
Also, I don't know when I'll be getting a job, but when I do, it's going to affect my schedule a lot, of course, since I'm currently pretty much free (but dependent of my parents, haha!).
I don't know how long I'll be working, how many days a week... whenI do, I'll have to take some time re-organising everything. I might have to take some stuff off my schedule or reduce the time (including Youtube stuff!), but I hope I can manage something not too full and not be too tired from work to respect the schedule.
Ending this post on a positive note, I will now proceed to start doing the important stuff I was going to do this afternoon!
I thought I'd be done by midday, but I've managed to do all my morning activities already. :P
Your turn to share! What do you think about daily schedules? Do you use one? If so, how would you feel if you stopped using it during a week? If you don't have a schedule, do you feel it could help you accomplish more every day?

Yeah once you find work, free time does become more scarce, but it also makes it alot more precious, and encourages organisation.
